Peter Nelson is originally from Highland, Utah.  He performed as a contemporary dance soloist with Odyssey Dance Theatre.  He is also performed with the Brigham Young University Young Ambassadors for several seasons while completing a BS degree in Neuroscience.  He has since shelved his ambitions of a career in medicine to pursue his dreams in the theater.  He performed as a featured singer/dancer in the inaugural cast of Holland America Line’s newest flagship the Nieuw Amsterdam IV (Mediterranean and Caribbean sailings) before moving to New York City in Spring 2011.

His Broadway debut was in the roles of “Harry/Harrison” in “Chicago the Musical” in May 2011.  He originated the role of “Woodland Creature” in “Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella” at the Broadway Theatre in March 2013. He completed the off-Broadway production of “Trip of Love” and has rejoined “Chicago the Musical” in the role of “Sergeant Fogarty.”
